Erik Wallin is the Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of Northfork. Northfork is a shop-by-recipe platform for grocery retailers, enabling them to present shoppable recipes, expand digital revenue, and increase loyalty. Prior to being part of the founding team at Northfork, Erik was Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of BagHitch a P2P transportation service in Sweden, where he was responsible for POC and market entry and awarded the status of spokesperson for the sharing economy.
As the CMO, Erik is developing partnerships along with entry into new markets. Also closely working with the product team for excellent user experiences, developing new insights, helping partners drive online food purchases with higher degree of customer satisfaction whilst saving time and money.
Erik started his career as an marketeer within the grocery retail industry at Barilla, before making a move into sales, with roles at Barilla, Arla Foods and Danone.
As an entrepreneur Erik has founded peer-to-peer transportation platform BagHitch which he exited in 2016.
Erik has a Master in Business Administration from Uppsala University.
